The amount of fun it is to paint vibrant sheets of color, then rip them up into strips and shapes and put them all together again to "paint" a picture like a vibrant night sky on a mountain rage is insane. Seriously, so much fun. It's both creative and destructive and each torn strip of paper is unique from the next. I tear the paper to make specific shapes and pieces that are layered and placed just so - to create depth, perspective, and shading. I'm always working on new designs! I also like to use different kinds of additional paints, like watercolor, gouache, or acrylic for additional features, like stars and snowy definition in this case.
This piece measures approximately 9"x9", would look amazing in a floating frame on the wall!
